Two Earthquakes Hit Ladakh Within Four Hours, No Damage Reported.

SRINAGAR: Ladakh experienced two earthquakes within a span of nearly four hours on Thursday, triggering concern among residents. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the two tremors measured 5.5 and 4.3 magnitude and were recorded in the Leh region.
The stronger magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck at 6:05 am at a depth of 10 kilometres. The NCS placed its epicentre at 36.88° north latitude and 74.402° east longitude in the Leh region.
A second magnitude 4.3 earthquake was recorded at 9:54 am, also at a depth of 10 kilometres. Its epicentre was located at 36.76° north latitude and 75.326° east longitude, according to the NCS.
Both earthquakes occurred in the Leh area, with the second tremor coming roughly four hours after the first.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage following the earthquakes.
