Srinagar Ring Road Nears Completion; Key Stretches Almost Ready

Srinagar, July 2: Construction of the 61-km Srinagar Ring Road is progressing rapidly, with key stretches in Chadoora and Galander nearing completion ahead of the December 2026 deadline.The NHAI project aims to decongest Srinagar city by providing a vital bypass connecting Pulwama, Budgam, Srinagar, Baramulla, and Ganderbal. Once completed, the Ring Road is expected to reduce travel time, improve connectivity, and provide a major boost to the Valley’s transport infrastructure.
