J&K To Remain Dry Till October 5, Wet Spell Expected From October 6

Srinagar, October 2: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience generally dry weather from October 2 to 5, according to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.The weather is expected to turn partly to generally cloudy from October 6 to 8, with light rain and snowfall over higher reaches, along with thunder and gusty winds at a few places.Weather activity may intensify on October 9 and 10, when light to moderate rain and snowfall over higher reaches are likely at scattered to many places.Conditions are expected to improve from October 11 to 14, with partly cloudy weather forecast across J&K.The Meteorological Centre has advised farmers to continue harvesting apple and paddy crops and carry out other agricultural activities while keeping the forecasted weather changes in view.
