SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has directed all government departments, public sector undertakings (PSUs) and autonomous bodies to observe Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 from October 26 to November 1 under the theme “Probity for Prosperity.”The week-long observance will begin with an integrity pledge at 11 am on October 26, with public servants across Jammu and Kashmir expected to participate. Departments and organisations have been instructed to ensure active participation by officers and employees.The administration has also asked departments to organise awareness activities highlighting corruption prevention, transparency and accountability in public administration.The initiative aims to promote ethical governance and integrity in government offices, encouraging public servants to perform their duties with honesty, fairness and responsibility.Vigilance Awareness Week is intended to strengthen awareness about preventing corruption and promoting transparent and accountable public services across Jammu and Kashmir.
