Gold Prices Fall in India, Rates Drop to ₹12,501 Per Gram.

SRINAGAR, July 31: Gold prices in India declined on Friday, offering some relief to buyers as the precious metal slipped from the previous day’s levels.
Gold was priced at ₹12,501.02 per gram, down from ₹12,578.45 per gram on Thursday, according to data compiled by FXStreet. This represents a decline of about ₹77 per gram in a single day.
The downward trend was also reflected in gold prices per tola. The rate fell to ₹145,809.30 per tola, compared with ₹146,712.60 per tola a day earlier—a drop of more than ₹900 per tola.
The decline comes amid continued fluctuations in international bullion markets. Domestic gold rates are influenced by several factors, including global gold prices, the rupee-dollar exchange rate, investor demand and broader market sentiment.
The latest dip is likely to attract attention from jewellery buyers and investors closely tracking gold rates after recent elevated prices.
