Gold Price Today: Gold Rates Rise to ₹13,549.95 Per Gram in India

SRINAGAR: Gold prices in India witnessed a fresh rise on Tuesday, with the rate climbing to ₹13,549.95 per gram, up from ₹13,463.78 per gram on Monday, according to data from FXStreet.The latest increase translates into a gain of ₹86.17 per gram, or around 0.64%, compared with the previous day.Gold prices also moved higher on a per-tola basis. The precious metal was quoted at ₹1,58,050.20 per tola on Tuesday, compared with ₹1,57,038.90 on Monday, marking a rise of ₹1,011.30, or approximately 0.64%.According to FXStreet, the price of 10 grams of gold stood at ₹1,35,504.30, while the rate per troy ounce reached ₹4,21,422.80.FXStreet said its India gold rates are calculated using international gold prices, adjusted for the USD/INR exchange rate and local measurement units. The figures are updated daily and serve as reference rates, meaning actual gold prices at local jewellery shops may vary.The rise in domestic gold prices comes as international gold prices remained above $4,400 per ounce on Tuesday. Market expectations around US interest rates, inflation and global economic conditions continued to influence the precious metal.
