Srinagar, July 8: Former District Development Council (DDC) member Safina Baig on Tuesday formally joined the National Conference (NC) during a ceremony held in Srinagar.She was welcomed into the party by NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Vice President Omar Abdullah, and senior party leader Nasir Aslam Wani.The National Conference leadership expressed confidence that Baig’s political experience and grassroots connect would strengthen the party’s presence in Jammu and Kashmir. Her induction is being viewed as a significant addition to the party’s organisational structure.The joining ceremony was attended by senior NC leaders and party workers.
