Srinagar, Feb 10: An unidentified man sustained critical injuries after being struck by a car in the Chanapora area of Srinagar, officials said.
Officials said the accident involved a Swift Dzire vehicle bearing registration number JK01AU-0385. The vehicle was reportedly, driven by a man from Zewan, Srinagar.
The injured man suffered serious injuries in the collision and was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital for medical treatment, where his condition was stated to be critical.
Police said a case under FIR No. 16/2026 has been registered at Police Station Saddar under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and further investigation has been initiated to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident.
