Trump Rejects Claims That Top General Advised Against Iran Strike, Calls Reports 100% Incorrect

Amid ongoing speculation about a possible United States attack on Iran, President Donald Trump has refuted media reports claiming that General Daniel Caine advised Washington against going to war with Tehran.Posting on Truth Social, Trump dismissed the reports as “100 percent incorrect,” stating that they fail to reflect Caine’s “vast wealth of knowledge.” He also asserted that the United States could easily win a war against Iran, while emphasizing that neither he nor Caine wants to see war.“Numerous stories from the Fake News Media have been circulating stating that General Daniel Caine, sometimes referred to as Razin, is against us going to war with Iran. The story does not attribute this vast wealth of knowledge to anyone, and is 100% incorrect,” Trump wrote.“General Caine, like all of us, would prefer not to see war. However, if a decision is made to take military action against Iran, it is his opinion that it will be something easily won,” he added.Trump further claimed that Caine has not spoken against action on Iran, including what he described as “fake limited strikes” reported in the media. “He only knows one thing—how to win—and if he is told to do so, he will be leading the pack. Everything that has been written about a potential war with Iran has been written incorrectly, and purposefully so,” Trump asserted. The President also renewed his warning to Iran regarding a nuclear deal with the United States. He reiterated that if Tehran fails to reach an agreement, “it will be a very bad day for that country and, very sadly, its people.”
