Suspected Object Found Along Roadside in Tappar Pattan area sealed

Srinagar, Jan 20 : Security forces on Tuesday rushed to the Tappar Pattan area of Tappar Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla after a suspected object was found along a roadside, officials said.According to officials, the object was noticed near the roadside in the Tappar Pattan belt, following which police and other security agencies immediately cordoned off the area as a precautionary measure. Civilian movement was restricted to ensure public safety.A bomb disposal squad was also called in to examine the object and assess any potential threat. Authorities said standard operating procedures are being followed and no conclusions will be drawn until the object is thoroughly inspected.Meanwhile, locals have been advised to stay away from the cordoned area and cooperate with security personnel until the situation is cleared.
