Ganderbal 30, September, 2025; Senior BJP leader and former District President BJP Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah, has urged the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor- Led administration to take immediate steps for the establishment of a Medical college and a Women’s College in district Ganderbal to address the long-pending educational and healthcare needs of the region.
Shah said that Ganderbal has immense potential but continues to remain deprived of major institutions that could provide better opportunities to students and healthcare facilities to the people. He stressed that a Medical Institute would not only improve healthcare infrastructure but also generate employment and benefit students aspiring for medical education.
Similarly, Shah underlined the importance of a Women’s College in the district to ensure that female students have access to quality higher education within their own district, which would encourage more girls to pursue studies.
He appealed to the government to take immediate steps for the sanctioning and establishment of these vital institutions in Ganderbal, keeping in view the aspirations of the local population.
