Srinagar, Mar 5 : Authorities on Thursday said that precautionary restrictions will continue across all districts of Kashmir on Friday following protests reported in parts of the Valley over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Top sources told the news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order and to prevent any untoward incidents.
A senior official said that the restrictions will remain in place on Friday to ensure that the situation remains peaceful, adding that the overall situation across the Valley remained largely calm on Thursday.
Officials also said that the administration is closely monitoring the developments and further measures will be taken depending on the situation.
