Bandipora, Feb 28: Multiple protests were held in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday against the recent United States and Israel military strikes on Iran, with hundreds of people taking to the streets in different areas.
According to reports, demonstrations were organised in Sarai Dangarpora and Shadipora, where participants assembled in large numbers and raised slogans condemning the military action. Protesters expressed solidarity with Iran and voiced strong opposition to the strikes carried out by the US and Israel.
The protest gatherings were led by religious and community leader Agha Syed Toyab Mohd Rizvi, who addressed the participants and criticised the military escalation in the Middle East. He called for restraint and urged the international community to intervene to prevent further conflict.
