Srinagar, Mar 23 One person lost his life while three others were injured after a Sumo vehicle met with an accident at Manigah Shalabathu area of Kupwara on Monday.
Sources told that four persons were involved in the accident, in which one person died on the spot while three others sustained injuries.
The deceased has been identified as a resident of the area, while all the injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara for treatment, where their condition is being monitored.
The body of the deceased was also taken to SDH Kupwara, and necessary medico-legal formalities are being carried out.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated.
