Omar Abdullah Says 2,415 Posts Referred to JKSSB This YearCM Reaffirms Commitment to Transparency and Efficiency in Recruitment

Srinagar, Oct 28: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday informed the Assembly that a total of 2,415 posts have been referred to the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) for recruitment during the year 2025.

In a written reply to a question, Omar Abdullah said his government is taking concrete measures to expedite the recruitment process across departments and ensure the timely referral of vacancies.

“My government is taking steps to make the recruitment system more efficient and transparent. We are committed to fairness and accountability in every stage of the process,” the Chief Minister said.

He reiterated that the administration’s focus remains on providing equitable employment opportunities to deserving candidates while maintaining the highest standards of transparency in recruitment.

The statement comes amid ongoing discussions in the Assembly regarding unemployment and job creation in Jammu and Kashmir.
