A massive landslide at Shalgadi in Banihal has led to the closure of NH-44, leaving thousands of passengers and heavy motor vehicles stranded on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway.
Clearance operations are currently underway, with authorities working to restore traffic at the earliest.
