Srinagar, Dec 10. A Nepali national was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Sanat Nagar locality of Srinagar on Wednesday, prompting a police probe into the incident.
Officials identified the deceased as Rajan Singh, son of Naroj Singh, a native of Nepal. He had been working as a domestic help at a local residence in Sanat Nagar.
Police said the body was recovered within the jurisdiction of Police Station Saddar. Following standard procedure, the body was shifted to the PCR for a postmortem to determine the cause of death.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway, officials added. [KNT]
