Moon Sighting update

India
There is only about a 5% chance of sighting the new moon today. With prevailing cloudy conditions, limited crescent illumination, and unfavorable visibility timing, moon sighting appears highly unlikely.
Eid Declaration: Expected within 1 hour after Maghrib prayers.

Pakistan
Around a 20% chance of moon sighting exists today.

Sighting is highly unlikely in Punjab, PAK, and Gilgit-Baltistan provinces.
A very weak possibility remains in parts of Balochistan, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The moon will stay above the horizon for roughly 30 minutes after sunset.

Under completely clear skies, sighting may be possible with optical aid (binoculars/telescopes).
However, naked-eye visibility remains extremely low.

Eid Declaration Likely 2.5 to 4 hours after Maghrib, due to expected delays in verification.

J&K & Ladakh
Persistent cloud cover makes moon sighting highly unlikely across the region.
