Srinagar, Feb 6. A 25-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in Bemina area of Srinagar on Friday, officials said.
Police said a team from Police Station Bemina brought the man to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Sarmad Naseer Bhat, son of Naseer Ahmad Bhat, a resident of MIG Colony, Bemina. Police said the death occurred under unexplained circumstances at his home.
Officials said proceedings have been initiated to ascertain the exact cause of death. Further investigation is underway.
