Baramulla, Nov 25 : A nine-year-old boy lost his life after being hit by a tractor in Wahdina area of Chandoosa in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday. The victim has been identified as Husaib Riyaz, son of Riyaz Ahmad Khan.
Locals told KNT that the child sustained grievous injuries when a moving tractor struck him in the village. He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College Baramulla for treatment. According to medical authorities, the boy was brought to the facility with critical injuries and was declared dead shortly after arrival.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further proceedings have been initiated.
